Internal Audit Unit, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT Internal Audit Unit)
This document explains how to use the website for staff and members of the public — browsing information, downloading documents, requesting consultation, and submitting complaints.
1. Overview and Getting Started
The website organizes information into 8 main menus located on the navigation bar at the top of every page. Click any menu to go directly to that section.

8 Main Menus:

💡 On mobile devices, the menu bar collapses into a ☰ Menu button — tap it to open.
2. About Us / Policy / Standards
The About Us menu contains basic information about the Unit. Clicking into it displays sub-topics as cards, with a left-hand sub-menu to choose from (Unit Introduction / Charter / Code of Ethics / Code of Conduct / Internal Audit Standards).

The Policy / Announcements menu presents the Unit’s stance on transparency, such as the Independence and Impartiality Policy and the No Gift Policy.
3. News
This section brings together news, the annual audit plan, announcements, and events, sorted by date (Buddhist Era). Click a news headline to read the full details and download any attached documents (if available).

4. Published Documents / Download
A page consolidating documents (the Charter, Por.Yor./Por.Kor. internal control forms, manuals, internal control standards, etc.), organized by category. Click the orange Download button to open or save a file.

5. Consulting Services (Q&A)
Use this section to submit questions/requests for consultation to the Internal Audit Unit and to view frequently asked questions that staff have already answered.

How to Submit a Question:
- Go to the Consulting Services menu.
- Fill in the “Submit a Question / Request Consultation” box:
– Question Subject (required) – Question Details (required) – Department/Requester (optional)
- Click Submit Question → the system displays the message “Your question has been submitted successfully”.
- Staff will review the question and publish the answer in the “Frequently Asked Questions (Answered)” list on the right — click a question to expand and view the answer.
6. Whistleblowing / Complaint Reporting
A channel for reporting fraud, misconduct, or violations of regulations, with an emphasis on confidentiality and whistleblower protection.

How to Submit a Report:
- Go to the Whistleblowing / Complaint Reporting menu.
- Fill in the form on the right:
– Subject (required) – Category (select from the list) – Details (required — describe the incident, date/time, location, and persons involved to the extent known) – ☑️ Submit Anonymously (recommended — if checked, the system will not retain your contact information) – Return Contact Information (optional — provide only if you wish to be contacted back)
- Click Submit Report.
- The system will issue a tracking code, e.g.
WB-XXXXXXXX— ⚠️ please keep this code to check the status later.
6.1 Tracking the Case Status
Use the code you received to check the progress at any time.

How to Track:
- Go to the Whistleblowing / Complaint Reporting menu and scroll down to the “Track Complaint Status” box.
(or click the “Check This Case’s Status” button that appears after submitting the report)
- Type in the tracking code and click Check Status.
- The system displays: subject · category · date reported · current status · and notes from staff (if any).
Status Meanings (Color Labels):
- 🔘 Received (grey) — the system has received the report.
- 🟡 Under Review (yellow) — staff are currently processing the case.
- 🟢 Completed (green) — the review has been completed.
- 🔴 Closed (red) — the case has been closed.
🔒 Only those with the correct code can view the status of a case. All information is kept confidential.
7. Contact Us
This section brings together all contact channels: address, Google Map, email, and phone number.
